WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU REGISTER?
When you click on 'REGISTER' on the home page, you will be given information on the 3 tier system of the Two by 2 matching process.
Our aim is to help you find someone compatible to serve together. Various aspects are considered throughout the matching process. The main things that Two by 2 look at are the practical aspects of where you would like to go to serve, when you would like to go and for how long.
The 3 tier system allows us to gather information from you in stages and then also release it to prospective matches in stages. The main purpose of this is to provide the opportunity for you and others to gradually find out information about one another, to see if you might be a suitable match for cross cultural service. Contact details are held back and only released when you know sufficient information about the other person and are happy to start communicating directly, rather than through the Two by 2 safety net system.
The use of the website is free of charge.
Once you click on 'REGISTER', the first screen that you complete is the 'REGISTER' screen which gives contact information that Two by 2 retains for admin purposes.

Tier 1 is the first level of mission related information that is completed by each applicant. Once you have filled in this screen, Two by 2 staff match your data with that of other applicants. When a good match is found, both parties receive an email containing a PDF of the other person's details. If both parties agree to release the next level of information, both parties will be asked to complete Tier 2 information which will then be sent out to both parties.
Throughout this process if any party decides to pull out of a particular match, they can do so at any time. They will then be matched up with other potential match applicants and the process will begin again.
